Bobby East of Brownsburg, Ind. led a 1-2 "sweep" on Thursday night's "J.D. Byrider 100" K & N USAC Silver Crown Championship race at O'Reilly Raceway Park at Indianapolis for the A.J. Foyt Racing Team. East led all 100 laps after starting next to pole winner Jason Leffler. Teammate Pablo Donoso of Chile finished second behind East's Greer C & R/Chevy, while Tim Barber of San Francisco, Calif. took third.      "The car was awesome," said East after the race. "After lap 60 I wasn't worried about saving anything but the track became slippery and we could barely run wide open in the late stages. It feels good to have two wins this year and it's always good to give A.J. a victory."       The race was slowed by six cautions for minor incidents and East's average speed was 86.304 mph. Leffler, who was a last-minute addition to the field, was the fastest qualifier at 113.368 mpg but slipped to third at the start and was never really a serious threat.       Series point leader Wayne Reutimann Jr. retired from the race after 91 laps with ignition trouble but was able to hang on to the point lead, seven ahead of defending champion Bud Kaeding, who finished seventh.       The series now prepares for the August 18 "Tony Bettenhausen 100" at the Illinois State Fairgrounds in Springfield.
