That’s what the field is in for this weekend in Mobil 1 presents the Grand Prix of Mosport at historic Mosport International Raceway. The 2.459-mile, 10-turn circuit rivals Road America - the previous Series stop - as the fastest on the schedule, and the enthusiasm of the Mosport fans makes the Series’ only annual Canadian stop one of the highlights of the season.

Your Driver.A new wider front tire that the team had been looking forward to was delivered and ready for testing. Immediately following the first practice that day, drivers Feinberg and Hall were ecstatic with the gains from the 12inch front tire. The team had been struggling with the heavy load from their front engine V10 Viper on the front tires which caused an unruly amount of understeer. Once the new tire was brought into the cars setup it allowed the team to soften the suspension and work on keeping the car compliant through the corners.

On the race’s fourth and final restart, with nine minutes to go, Maxwell got a great jump on Plumb, and won by 3.013 seconds over Plumb in the No. 60 Rehagen Racing Ford Mustang GT. The pass came just before the race’s third caution, which involved the No. 171 APR Motorsport Volkswagen GT of Ian Baas.
