Kyle Busch won the Kroger 200, his 17th victory in 128 NASCAR Nationwide Series races. His last win in the NASCAR Nationwide Series was Chicago in July 11, 2008.
Busch posted his 15th victory of 2008 across NASCAR’s top three series. He broke a tie with Kevin Harvick (14 in 2006) for the most wins overall in a season since the addition of the NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series in 1995.
This is his sixth victory and 11th top-10 finish in 20 NASCAR Nationwide Series races in 2008.
This is his second victory and second top-10 finish in four NASCAR Nationwide Series races at O’Reilly Raceway Park. His previous best finish here was first in 2004.
Colin Braun (second) posted his first top-10 NASCAR Nationwide Series finish in five starts this season.
Mike Bliss (third) posted his 11th top-10 NASCAR Nationwide Series finish in 22 starts this season. His previous best finish at O’Reilly Raceway Park was seventh in 2004.
Clint Bowyer retained the lead in the NASCAR Nationwide Series championship points, leading Brad Keselowski by 173 points.
