Johnny Benson won the Keystone Light Pole for the Ohio 250, his third pole in 107 career NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series races.
This is his first pole and second top-10 start in 2008.
This is Benson’s first pole and fourth top-10 start in four races at Mansfield Motorsports Park.
Mike Skinner (second) posted his second top-10 start in five Mansfield races and his fourth of the 2008 season.
David Starr (third) posted his fourth top-10 start in five races at Mansfield. It is his third top-10 start this season.
Andy Lally (fourth) posted his career-best start and was the highest qualifying rookie.

What does it mean to start on the pole at a track where track position is so important?
JB — “It’s very important. You want to start up front. You know what the pit strategies are going to be. People are going to try to come in as early as possible to be able to make it to the end. Our Brangus Breeders Tundra is in pretty good shape. Trip Bruce (crew chief) and the guys just did a tremendous job, and we’re pretty excited to start up front here at Mansfield.”
How do you think the pole will affect your team’s pit strategy?
JB — “I’m glad we were able to get the pole. I’m happy with it. It was a pretty good lap. You’ll see a lot of guys go to where they can go on just one stop and do it. Last year was won with no pit stop, but we can’t do it with these fuel cells. There will be some excitement through pit strategies, for sure
