The Missouri 100 Next for Chad Finley

The wicked fast high banks of the I-70 (MO) Speedway awaits 15-year-old Chad Finley this weekend.
Dewitt, Michigan (06/07/2007): 15-year-old Chad Finley was looking forward to returning to ASA Late Model Series Northern Division Racing over the Memorial Day Weekend after a month long break between events.
Unfortunately Mother Nature intervened with what was to be the second race of the season on May 26, 2007 at the Grundy County (IL) Speedway, located West of Chicago and Joliet in Morris, Illinois for the running of the 1st annual Bob Milner Memorial 125 Presented by Bailey's Carpet One. A make-up date is being worked on and will be announced soon.
In the meantime, the 15-year-old Rookie contender in the ASALMS Northern Division has continued to keep his skills sharp by running his Outlaw Bodied Super Late Model at the 0.250 Mile Semi-Banked Paved Oval of the Spartan (MI) Speedway, located South of Lansing in Mason, Michigan on Friday nights.
Chad's Father, Jeff, as well as his Uncle, Doug Finley are both former Multi-time Track Champions at the Mid-Michigan speed plant. His Uncle Doug won his Second Feature of the season last Friday June 1, 2007 with Chad finishing a solid Fourth. His Uncle is the Current Points Leader while Chad now sits Sixth in the season long points chase with Two Top Fives and Three Top 10 showing in four starts.
Now the 15-year-old will return to ASALMS Northern Division action after what will now be a six week layover as his Team Finley Racing Team will make the trip to the famed 0.543 Mile High-Banked Paved Oval of the I-70 (MO) Speedway located East of Kansas City in Odessa, Missouri this Saturday June 9, 2007 for what will now be the second race of the 2007 season in the ASALMS Northern Division for the running of the Missouri 100.
